Cardioprotective effect of fir cell juice
Preclinical studies of cardioprotective properties of cell juice (extract) of Siberian fir were carried out in the Research Institute of Cardiology in Tomsk in laboratory mice. The effect of the extract was studied on the model of isoproterenolic myocardial necrosis. The introduction of fir extract made the level of the radiopharmaceutical in the animal heart tissue in cases of isoproterenolic myocardial injury 2 times lower in comparison with the control group. There were no deaths of animals against the background of induced necrosis in groups of animals treated with the fir extract.
